Superintendent's Message

Welcome to Panther Country!

Normangee ISD is proud to announce that we have received a T.E. A. rating of RECOGNIZED for the third consecutive year. Our teachers and administrators work very diligently to prepare all students for a successful future. Our district is located in southern Leon County and is home to 540 students and 96 employees.

Normangee ISD is a model district with blueprints for success. The administration has equipped all classrooms with state of the art technology promoting integration technology into the classrooms. Our attractive new fine arts classroom/band hall will open in September. This facility will also house a theatre like distance learning center that seats 300.

Our proactive approach to education has provided all students the mechanism to be successful and compete at every level. Normangee ISD focuses on developing well rounded, successful students. High school students are provided the opportunity to earn up to 36 hours of college credit prior to graduation. Our continual effort to enhance our student success is supported by the school board, administrators, teachers, students, and parents.

All students are encouraged to participate in multiple extra-curricular activities to enhance their regular educational programs. Normangee schools boast state championships or state finalists in four different sporting events.

Normangee ISD is bonded together by a love and dedication for the district. Our success is driven by the immense support of the community and alumni. Please feel free to visit our schools and special events to witness the excitement.
