Class Dues

Class Dues—What are they and what are they used for?

A lot of questions have been asked about class dues and why we do them, so we have put together this quick informational sheet for parents. Please understand that all of this information is based on class size and everyone paying their dues.

Class Dues- These are dues paid every year to help students get ready for Junior and Senior year activities. If students pay their dues every year, it should reduce the amount of money and the amount of fundraisers that students have to complete as Juniors and Seniors.

Class Contracts- All class contracts have been offered to students to pick up. The contracts list out the dues and due dates for each class. Contracts should have been signed by a parent, either agreeing to participate or opting out.

Junior Activities- Juniors are responsible for putting on the Junior/Senior Prom. This includes finding a location, paying for it, decorating and the prom favors. Prom last year cost approximately $4000.00.  Any money left over, will go towards the Senior trip.

Senior Activities- Seniors are responsible for paying for their Senior Trip, their food while on the trip, and a set amount of roses that are given during the graduation ceremony. Senior trip last year cost approximately $5000.00.

If Juniors do not pay their dues or opt out, they will NOT receive an invite to Prom or be allowed to attend as a guest of someone else.

If there are any circumstances that make paying these dues difficult, please reach out to one of the sponsors, Mrs. Martin or Mr. Davis.

****Also, Project Graduation is not affiliated with the school. The school does not sponsor it and it is separate from the class dues and activities.****
